This evening the Hub celebrates with one of our members, Carbon Sense Solutions who will be recognized as 2nd place winners in the innovacorp i3 Start-Up Competition for Zone 3: Halifax Regional Municipality. A big congratulations to Carbon Sense Solutions on this achievement from all of us at the Hub!
In addition to qualifying for this very competitive award, Carbon Sense Solutions has been a great partner in leading the newly created HubTalk focusing on the Climate Change trip, post Copenhagen. The Hub Halifax was honoured to be amoung several businesses nominated for a Halifax Business Award. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a silver award in the category of New Business of the Year. We were impressed with the selection of businesses who were nominated and there seemed to be a strong emphasis on rewarding green and community values based businesses such as CarShare Halifax (Winner of New Business of the Year) and Lean Machine (Winner of Small Business of the Year).
