I find it hard to make time for finances in my life even though it is a part of so many things I do. Attending the Hublicious: Top Five Finance Tips for Start Ups offered by Nik Rowlston on Monday was helpful because he understands that many of us avoid this aspect of our lives, often until things are in a bit of a mess. His top five tips included pretty straightforward stuff such as record keeping systems (physical+virtual), knowledge, cashflow, planning and finally – keeping it simple. Of course our conversations in between slides proved most valuable.
Given the complexity of our lives these days it’s great to have some reliable support to navigate finances as many of us have multiple business and personal initiatives on the go simultaneously. Finding the right people to help you come up with the best solutions is important and can save a lot of time and hassle.
