Arts at the Hub (vol. 1)

For the past few weeks, the Hub has had a collaborative art project taking shape in, of all places, the washrooms. These murals have helped to uncover hidden talents that some of the members. We are hoping that this arts posting can become a regular feature on the blog, we’ll just have to figure out how to make that happen on the tech side of things.

If you have any suggestions for other art projects in the space, be in washroom murals, finger painting, or whatever else, feel free to let the hosts know.

For many people, the only method to get and send information out is by using a Community Access Program site. This is particularly true for homeless youth in our city (talk to Phoenix Youth or your local library) and many of our seniors.

To all those that participated in the climate change talk, either in person or via our social media outlets, we’d like to say thank you, thank you, and thank you! Overall, the night went quite well and it was a great learning experience that will surely help us in planning future HubTalks.

February Update @ the Hub

Hello Everyone!

It’s been awhile but we’ve got some great things to share. This update is a bit different to ones from 2009. We are adding a feature to our news which includes information from some of our neighbours in the area. No, we aren’t getting paid but we are trying to encourage people to participate in a healthier downtown core so this is one way to show your support – participate.
