Normally I try not to type before I’ve had a cup o’ tea (or three). This would be the exception that proves the rule – with so many exciting events to let you know about (if you don’t already). Today (beginning at ten and going until five) is the 2009 B2B Expo, which happens at the World Trade Centre. The theme this year is “Preparing For the Future”, with a particular focus on sustainable business practices. That whooshing sound y’all heard was September whizzing by … and here we are with Thanksgiving on the horizon (not to mention imminent Change, and impending art at night).
Happening at the Hub right now is the ChangeCamp Lunch – a planning session for ChangeCamp Halifax, which is all about facilitating public participation through new relationships and new media. More information can be found at http://wiki.changecamp.ca/ChangeCamp_Nova_Scotia
Then later this evening we welcome the New Earth Institute (folks who are working hard at developing a new international education and research organization) for their first annual meeting and fall gathering ……
