This evening the Hub celebrates with one of our members, Carbon Sense Solutions who will be recognized as 2nd place winners in the innovacorp i3 Start-Up Competition for Zone 3: Halifax Regional Municipality. A big congratulations to Carbon Sense Solutions on this achievement from all of us at the Hub!
In addition to qualifying for this very competitive award, Carbon Sense Solutions has been a great partner in leading the newly created HubTalk focusing on the Climate Change trip, post Copenhagen. It’s been a busy time here at the Hub – feels like as the weather has cooled off, the hustle and bustle of activities has things heating up. Normally I try not to type before I’ve had a cup o’ tea (or three). This would be the exception that proves the rule – with so many exciting events to let you know about (if you don’t already). Today (beginning at ten and going until five) is the 2009 B2B Expo, which happens at the World Trade Centre. The theme this year is “Preparing For the Future”, with a particular focus on sustainable business practices.
