For the past few weeks, the Hub has had a collaborative art project taking shape in, of all places, the washrooms. These murals have helped to uncover hidden talents that some of the members. We are hoping that this arts posting can become a regular feature on the blog, we’ll just have to figure out how to make that happen on the tech side of things.
If you have any suggestions for other art projects in the space, be in washroom murals, finger painting, or whatever else, feel free to let the hosts know.

I just finished reading Seth Godin’s new book “Tribes”, it has a really beautiful cover design and a simple message. As humans we intrinsically want to belong, not to just one tribe, but to many. Social networking technologies have made it easier than ever to find others with shared passion and interest, connect and make thinks happen.
Even before I picked up this book, I knew that in starting the hub we were building a tribe. the hub is a tribe that wants to make things better. There are hundreds of examples in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the world…
