Work Inspired with Art@the Hub

October 16th was a rainy, miserable day but even fighting Barrington traffic couldn’t keep the dedicated volunteers from VANS from hanging the first ever Hub Gallery exhibit. The collaboration between Visual Arts Nova Scotia (VANS) and the Hub initiated while sharing a youth volunteer from Katimavik about a year ago.

The Hub has recently been focusing more on art in the space and is pleased with the new partnership with VANS. Read more about the exhibit in the press release by VANS pasted below.

An Attack on the Free Circulation of Information

For many people, the only method to get and send information out is by using a Community Access Program site. This is particularly true for homeless youth in our city (talk to Phoenix Youth or your local library) and many of our seniors.
