On Thursday, June 3rd, from 6.00 to 7.30, come by the Hub for an evening of networking, new ideas, and inspiring presentations. Following an engaging first installment in November, we invite you to the second Demo Hub, featuring a new slate of topics and speakers. Whether you’re high-tech or organic, enterprise or grassroots, Demo Hub is a chance to meet other entrepreneurs, share ideas, and spark exciting conversations about making the most of business and community projects.
The evening will showcase several new approaches and new ideas emerging in Halifax right now. We will also hear some helpful advice on how to generate leads online and promote your business or community project using the web.
Our MC for the evening, Carman Pirie of Kula Partners, will keep things lively while we hear from our three speakers.
Ian Conrad of Hi There will talk about Apps4Good, a business launched to give back to the community while building strategic experience and business connections.
Next, Rachel Derrah of Breakhouse invites us to the Better City Lab, incubating local talent to kick-start profitable businesses designed with a strong social and community focus.
Tom McLellan of GrowthClick will round out the evening, helping us close the loop generating leads and increasing online sales for both emerging and existing businesses and initiatives.
