This short event will bring together innovative thinkers to give short talks along the theme of global perspectives, local learning. TEDxHalifax 2009 proceeds a larger TEDxHalifax 2010.

Normally I try not to type before I’ve had a cup o’ tea (or three). This would be the exception that proves the rule – with so many exciting events to let you know about (if you don’t already). Today (beginning at ten and going until five) is the 2009 B2B Expo, which happens at the World Trade Centre. The theme this year is “Preparing For the Future”, with a particular focus on sustainable business practices.
