I’m Buzzin’ right from the Hub-hive itself today, and though I’m headed out soon, I couldn’t leave without letting y’all know about some of the shenanigans going down in the next little while … yesterday was our monthly Taster, and the Hub was busy all day long. Folks were talking about buying local, building change, and enjoying these last few days of August (oh yeah, and maybe there was some work-related discussion going on). Our calendar continues to fill up with events of all kinds – autumn is going to be busy in the funnest possible way (and yes, I know funnest is not a word, but neither was google until recently. Be a trailblazer, be ahead of the curve. It’s the funnest).
Not all the happenings are here – one of our members is heading up Team Hub as part of the AIDS Walk For Life (September 27th), and welcomes participation and donations from all. And here in the space itself there are some interesting ideas percolating: keep an eye out for walls festooned with art, and both ears attuned to the sounds of words and music (both together, and perhaps even separately …).
Not to mention the possibility of homemade baked goods … and really, what’s better than eating a cookie while surrounded by beautiful paintings? Eating two cookies??
If that’s your biggest dilemma, I’d say life is good.
