The Inaugural Hub Buzz!

As the sun shines down on this Wednesday afternoon, I’m looking forward to catching some rays in the next few days … and anticipating all the activity lighting up the Hub this week … from in-house photos shoots (hellooo Halifax Magazine) to a classical concert, schooling stress, one-of-a-kind designs and more more more music …

Tomorrow evening we are hosting Joanna Bull & the YES+ folks for Success Without Stress: a unique seminar designed specifically for young professionals.  How do we achieve our ideal life and career without succumbing to the pressures and stresses that come along with being part of the professional world? Includes a short talk, dynamic group processes, and some light yoga.                                                                                                                                                                           Thursday 13th at 7pm ~ $10 suggested donation

On Friday night the Hub presents the Halifax String Quartet.  One of Nova Scotia’s premiere string ensembles, the HSQ  is Lee Park and Jennifer Lau on violin, Jennifer Bentley on viola and Sarah Ramer on cello.  This event will feature Canadian compositions and classical gems, including works by Debussy, Piazzolla, Morricone, Veltmeyer and Hansen, as well as jazz and tango pieces arranged exclusively for by HSQ’s own Jennifer Bentley.
