Hub Halifax Update

The Hub has been open since Februray 2 and the renovations are nearly complete. Both meeting rooms are being used regularly and members are in trying out the flexible workspace.

Some of the groups that have been using the space include: NS Health Protection and Promotion, Nocturne – Art at Night, Envision Halifax, Imagine Bloomfield, Green Party, Planning and Design Centre, Eye Level Gallery, deux fm, Capital District Health Authority, NS Advisory Commission on Aids and more!

Thanks deux fm!

Just wanted to thank Anna, founder and designer of deux fm for providing a number of lucky ladies with some of her fabulous clothing at such a steal. The sale was a real success and it was fun to do something other than ‘laptop’ working at the hub. There were some great moments during the weekend sale with people selecting choice articles and using one of our meeting rooms as a dressing room. We really hope Anna will inspire those who care deeply about not only the quality and aesthetic of what they produce, but how and where they produce it.…
