A committed and talented mix of people showed up on Friday, March 27th to engage in an experiment: Build a Business in a weekend. Halifax Weekend was an initiative organised and coordinated by Patrick Hankinson, who released Tetherberry only weeks ago. Patrick participated in a similar ‘build a business’ event in Ottawa and thought it would be fun to bring the concept to Halifax.
The Hub was excited to sponsor this kind of event that brought together people for a Hub-like experience of their own. About 14 people came together on Friday evening, most unknown to one another and not quite sure…

Halifax Weekend is an event being held to build an entire business in one weekend with a team of Designers, Marketers, Programmers and Management.
All members will receive a stake in the business for every 3 hour intervals they spend working on the business over the weekend. You will be required to purchase your own food during the weekend. This will be a a “bring your own laptop” event, as well.
Anyone can join, so please tell your friends and help spread the word!
This event is being coordinated by Patrick Hankinson, a member of the Hub Halifax.
